A height control barrier designed for vehicles up to 4.5 metres has collapsed along the Asamang Tamfoe–Ankaasi stretch of the Accra–Kumasi N6 highway, posing a serious risk to motorists.
The cause of the damage was yet to be confirmed, though residents suspect it may have been struck by low-bed trucks transporting mining equipment.
