Deliver Justice promptly and fairly- Akufo-Addo charges 21 new Justices
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has charged 21 newly sworn-in Justices of the High Court to deliver justice promptly and fairly.

Addressing them at the Jubilee House during their swearing-in, the President stressed the importance of their roles in upholding justice and ensuring that it is accessible to all citizens.
He also reminded them of the need to fulfill their duties diligently and without bias.
The newly sworn-in Justices comprised 16 circuit court judges who have been elevated and five private legal practitioners.
They are Justices Abass Abubakari Adams, Felix Datsomor, Agnes Opoku-Barnieh, Afia Owusuaa Appiah, Ellen Ofei-Ayeh, Winnie Amoatey-Owusu, Enid Marful-Sau, and Kizita Naa Koowa Quarshie.
Also, Justices Abigail Animah Asare, Dorinda Smith-Arthur, Veronique Praba Tetteh, Charles Kwasi Acheampong, Arit Nsemoh, Abdul-Razak Musah, Samuel Djanie Kotey, and Stephen Kumi.
Further, the five legal practitioners who have been elevated are Justices Ernest Pascal Gemadzie, Nathan Parker Yarney, Oliver Abada, Frimpong Amoako, and Akosua Dansoa Asiama Christopher.
In his address, the president further reminded them that, “A corrupt or incompetent judge does more than fail in his or her duty, he or she, poses a significant danger to the administration of justice and the public interest.”
