Head Pastor
Pastor Obeng is the head pastor of the largest English congregation of the church in Kumasi.
With branches all over the country and other parts of the world, the church has a large following within the Ashanti Region, particularly the Kumasi metropolis.
Sermon
Delivering the sermon at the memorial service, the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil, asked Christians to show love and affection to their loved ones while alive and not wait until their death to do so.
He said people felt loved and cherished when relations showed that they loved them.
Pastor Otabil said that Mrs Obeng led a life that would earn her a place in the life after resurrection, where she would reign for eternity with Christ in his kingdom.
