Graphic first aiders win quiz
First aiders from the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) last Saturday won the maiden Corporate First Aid competition organised by the St John Ambulance.

Other participants in the competition were Nestle Ghana, Community First Aiders and Volunteers of St John Ambulance Ghana (SJAG)
Held on the theme, “Safety and health in the use of chemicals at work: Safety is life”, the competition sought to foster the awareness of safety and health at workplaces and in homes.
Work environment
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, Mr Sulemanu Koney, who was the guest speaker, stressed the need for the institution of measures to ensure safety at the workplace.
According to him, an accident–free work environment arising from proper health and safety education of the employees would lead to a productive workforce at the various workplaces.
