New website for SHS placements, deadline extended to Thursday

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has set up a new website for the Basic Education Certificate Examination self-placement process.

The new site is www.cssps.gov.gh.

The GES has also extended the deadline for completion of the placement process to Thursday, September 7, 2017.

A statement released by the GES on Monday said the new website and extension of the deadline is in view of the challenges being faced by parents and guardians.

The original website for the self-placement, www.myjhsresult.net, now contains a link that directs users to the new website, www.cssps.gov.gh.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has given an assurance that it will do everything possible to ensure that no BECE candidate who has been placed in a senior high school or given the opportunity to select a school will be left behind.
