Nurse charged for raping psychiatric patient

A 28-year-old male nurse Monday appeared before the Accra Circuit for allegedly raping a 29-year-old mentally challenged patient.
Joshua Penin who works at the Valley View Psychiatric Clinic at Dzorwolu was said to have raped the patient at the clinic on two occasions.
He has been charged with having carnal knowledge of a mentally challenged patient.
The court, presided over by Mrs Abena Adjin - Doku granted him bail in the sum of GH¢20,000 and adjourned the case to July 11, 2016
