The Ghana Police Service has detained and interdicted Constable Alonsi Elizabeth after she allegedly poured hot water on a female colleague during an argument.

A statement issued by the police confirmed that the incident resulted in injuries to the victim’s face and back. 

She is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care and support.

“The suspect, poured hot water on a female colleague following an argument between them,” the police statement read.

Constable Alonsi is currently in custody and is expected to face both internal disciplinary procedures and legal proceedings in court.

The police have assured the public that due process will be followed in handling the matter, reinforcing their commitment to discipline and professional conduct within the service.
