UEW: Security disrupts Prof Avoke's press conference (VIDEO)

The was drama at the main campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) yesterday when the dismissed Vice Chancellor, Professor Mawutor Avoke, stormed the campus with other dismissed officers to take over their former positions.
The former VC, who was spotted in an ash-coloured suit, together with some administrative staff and lecturers entered the council chamber of the university to address a press conference.
However, before the press conference could commence, some armed policemen from the Winneba Police Command emerged to disrupt the event.
It was, however, unclear how the former VC and his entourage gained access into the Governing Council’s Chamber to address the press conference.
