VKB Ministries support Bekwai Central Destitute Infirmary

The Victor Kusi Boateng (VKB) Ministries, a non governmental organisation (NGO) with members worldwide has presented assorted items worth about GhȻ4000 to the inmates of the Central Destitute Infirmary at Bekwai-Amoafo in the Ashanti Region.

The items included bags of rice, maize, beans, cartons of canned fish, soaps and detergents, gallons of oil, drinks and an undisclosed amount of money for the purchase of LPG and payment of utility bills.

Mrs Anita Kusi Boateng, Vice President of the VKB Ministries presenting the items said the donation is to celebrate the birthday of Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng (her husband) Overseer of the Power Chapel Woldwide and President of VKB Ministries. 

VKB Ministries has unofficially adopted the Infirmary and has already provided a commercial stove, with cylinders, refrigerators, blenders and other items

Mr. Akuoko Rahman, Supervisor of the Infirmary after receiving the items expressed appreciation for the continuous support and said other donations in the form of cash, wax prints and food to the caregivers from the VKB Ministries has been serving as a huge incentive to them.

On his part, Dr Otchere Addai-Mensah, the Executive Secretary of the VKB Ministries in a brief remark hinted that the Ministries will in the coming months embark on several social intervention programmes such as registration of the less privileged in the society unto the NHIS, health screening for the aged and offer support to the needy.
