She said two years of her four-year tenure had witnessed a significant progress in the electoral area and mentioned that the Bourkrom-Estate M/A Primary now had a six-classroom block with office and store attached.

She said she had also managed to get street lights for some of the suburbs, including South Africa, D-Line and Pentecost.

She gave the assurance that arrangements were underway to  ensure that other areas would also enjoy the lights.

Mrs Barwua said she had been able to get two boreholes, one for  the South Africa community, which had already been completed and the other one for Bourkrom-Estate M/A Primary, which would be constructed soon.

She added that the former Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mr Mathew Prempeh, had given two senior high school (SHS) students scholarships.

The assembly membera also said she was working assiduously for the construction of the F-Line Market.

She said she also had lobbied for another classroom block to be put up in the electoral area, but lamented that there was no land available for such a facility to be constructed.

Mrs Barwua noted that the roads leading to the electoral area were in deplorable state and, therefore, appealed to the Ministry of Roads and Highways to save the people from that predicament immediately.
