Ayariga begins ‘Come on Board’ tour

The Presidential Candidate of the All People's Congress (APC), Dr Hassan Ayariga, has begun his nationwide "Come on Board” tour from the Greater Accra Region, with a call on Ghanaians to choose leadership based on competence and not on political affiliations.

He said until competent people were elected to govern, Ghana's economy would continue to deteriorate, with the citizens suffering.

Addressing the chief and elders of Kwabenya where he commenced his tour on Monday, Dr Ayariga said, "Ghana is not suffering because the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is in power or because the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not in government; Ghanaians are suffering because the electorate keep electing the wrong people".

The tour is part of a campaign strategy to rally support for the APC ahead of the November 7, 2016 elections.

During the tour, Dr Ayariga interacted with youth groups, market women, artisans, and drivers at all the various places he visited.

Accompanied by some of the executive members of the party, he toured Haasto, Dome/Kwabenya, Madina, Adenta and Dodowa.

Dr Ayariga also paid a courtesy call on chiefs, Imams and opinion leaders and used the occasion to introduce APC's executive members to them.

‘APC is the only alternative’

The APC flag bearer said the only way Ghanaians could change the fortunes of the country's economy was for the people to vote the APC into power.

He observed that it was time for the good people of Ghana to look beyond party affiliations and give power to the right team.

Touching on the party's vision, he said APC would offer the best form of government through the direct involvement of every Ghanaian.
