He was speaking at a mini rally in Saboba in the Northern Region as part of his Northern Regional campaign tour to solicit votes for the December 7 elections.

Peaceful coexistence

Mr Mahama emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence and promised to prioritise restoring peace to Bawku if elected.

He expressed disappointment over the neglected state of various projects initiated during his administration, including a community centre in Saboba.

He assured the community that the NDC government would complete the abandoned projects and initiate new ones such as constructing a state-of-the-art bridge over the Oti River.

Tour

The former president's Northern Regional tour, tagged #Mahama4Change2024, kicked off on Monday with a series of community engagements.

Mr Mahama started the day in Chereponi in the North East Region where he addressed the community, emphasising the importance of community involvement in his campaign.
