Kpando Constituency promises President landslide victory
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in the Kpando Constituency have promised President John Dramani Mahama 95 per cent victory in the 2016 election following the call back of Mr Prosper Douglas Bani into government.
The former Chief of Staff has been nominated for the Interior Ministry following the reshuffle by President Mahama.
Hundreds of NDC supporters and some people in the constituency were in a jubilant mood and carried placards as they took to the streets to show appreciation to the President.
Some of the placards had the inscriptions such as ‘President Akpe Loo’, ‘Prosper Bani Welcome’, ‘We appreciate You President’, and ‘We love you JM.’

In a brief speech, the NDC Constituency Chairman, Mr Killian Donkor, stated that the people of Kpando and particularly the NDC were filled with joy upon hearing the news of the nomination of Mr Bani, a native, as the minister designate for the Interior.
According to him, they believe that the competence, hard work, intelligence and rich experiences of Mr Bani would help maintain and improve the peace and security in the country.
“We the people of Kpando pledge that your 95 per cent vote in our constituency is highly assured for your landslide victory in the 2016 general election,” he stated.
Prosper Bani congratulated
He further congratulated the former chief of staff whose quality of leadership had once again caught the attention of the President to help achieve the “Better Ghana Agenda.”
