Mahama condemns attacks in NPP

President John Dramani Mahama has described as unacceptable, the killing of a New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, Abubakar Saddiq, in Asawasi in the Ashanti Region last Friday.

Speaking in the Upper West Regional capital, Wa, President Mahama commended the attacks saying, “no amount of political power is worth shedding the drop of blood of any single Ghanaian.”

The President further said he had directed the police to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.
