The items included 200 dual desks to the Kwadaso SDA basic school and building materials comprising 80 bags of cement, sand and stones, windows and doors and other items to complete a four-classroom block started by his predecessor, for the Wiamoase basic school.

The people are expected to help with communal labour.

At Wiamoase, the MP also announced to the people that he had purchased all the equipment needed to ensure the operation of the  clinic, and that what was left was the connection of water and electricity supply to the facility.

The Chief of Wiamoase, Nana Adei Enninagjei, paid glowing tribute to the MP for working around the clock to complete a lot of projects in the communities in the constituency, saying the demands for development projects in the constituency were many.

He was excited that currently, three medical doctors had applied to work at the hospital and were waiting for the opening of the facility, and expressed the hope that it would be completed soon.

Dr Akoto reiterated his pledge to always ‘squeeze water out of stone’ to provide communities with schools and hospitals in the area, irrespective of the fact that the government had woefully failed to make all statutory payments.

He expressed discontent about the increasing rate at which projects that would facilitate the development of the area, bring relief and enhance teaching and learning, had stalled because the government had failed to pay statutory funds.
