Ghana’s Black Queens have completed their pre-tournament preparations and have relocated from their training base in Benslimane to Siaïda, where they will be based for the 2024 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
During their two-week training camp, the team focused on refining tactics, improving fitness, and played three friendly matches — securing wins against Malawi (3-1) and Benin (4-1), before falling 3-1 to Nigeria.
With preparations now complete, attention turns to their WAFCON campaign, where Ghana faces a challenging Group C alongside defending champions South Africa on July 7, Mali on July 11, and Tanzania on July 14.
