He has, therefore, called on the Ghanaian electorate to give him the needed support come 2016 to change the dwindling fortunes of the country.

“I am deeply worried about the manner in which the two main political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have failed this country.  I am even more worried that we [Ghanaians] have consistently voted for them since 1992,” he stated in a statement.

According to Mr Addai, also known as Paa Joe, “What is  worse is that, for most of us electorate, it’s not because we think that the two political parties could solve the numerous problems confronting this country, but rather because we tend to think that we were born to vote for them.”

He said, without sounding hypocritical, both political parties had chalked up some successes, but argued that those successes were not enough to guarantee them another mandate in 2016 to govern Ghanaians.

He said Ghana had witnessed some strides since 1993, including the construction and rehabilitation of schools, hospitals and roads, as well as the provision of electricity to some communities.

In his estimation, Mr Addai said, the greatest achievement by both the NDC and NPP was the political stability the country enjoyed and the fact that both parties had peacefully handed over the reins of government to each other at one time or another.

In spite of these, Mr Addai stressed that Ghana was still wallowing in abject poverty and squalor, unable to solve sanitation, energy and water problems, much more create jobs for the teeming unemployed.

“So why do we vote NDC and NPP,” he asked and urged the Ghanaian electorate to pause and reflect on the real performance of the two political parties in relation to accelerated development.

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to resolve to give Dr Nduom their vote in the 2016 polls, stating, “Let’s drop those “men” who have done very little since 1993. Let’s begin to vote for the right people. Don’t be deceived that a vote for Dr Nduom will be wasteful.”

He added: “If we continue to endorse the NDC and NPP while they continuously fail us, posterity will not forgive us.” He further explained that  “political affiliation is not like your tribe that you cannot change”.

He stated that he was a young man who was deeply worried about the future of Ghana and, therefore, entreated Ghanaians to dismiss the impression being created that it was ‘only the NPP and NDC that have the men’ and that a vote for Dr nduom was a wasted vote.

He said Dr Nduom was the best candidate around and had demonstrated that in his private life and in the kind of vision he had for Ghana.
