The health walk, themed as part of the NPP’s Victory 2024 campaign, was a spectacle of energy and determination. Chants of hope and renewal echoed as supporters from diverse backgrounds made it clear that they were ready to break the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) long-standing hold on the constituency.
Frustrations over stalled development and a perceived lack of opportunities under the incumbent NDC MP were profound, as many participants openly expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance of their MP, citing unmet promises and stagnation in development. They hailed Mr Afrifa as the leader to spearhead a transformative agenda for the Wassa Amenfi West constituency.
“We believe in his vision for equitable development and job creation. He’s a man of action, and we are ready to support him fully,” said Ama Owusua, a participant in the health walk.
In a passionate address to the exuberant crowd, Mr Afrifa thanked his supporters for their unwavering belief in the NPP’s vision. He reiterated his commitment to delivering meaningful development and urged constituents to vote decisively on election day, December 7.
“We are on the brink of a new era in Wassa Amenfi West,” Mr Afrifa declared. “Your love and support today will give us the strength to create jobs, develop our communities, and secure our fair share of the national cake. Together, we will achieve the progress we desire.”
Mr Afrifa also emphasised the significance of unity and participation, reminding voters that both he and the NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, hold the Number One position on the ballot paper.

The remarkable turnout and enthusiasm during the health walk have been widely interpreted as a clear indication of the constituency's readiness for change. Political analysts suggest that Wassa Amenfi West is tilting firmly towards the NPP, with Mr Afrifa poised to break the NDC's dominance and usher in a new era of progress and inclusivity.
As election day approaches, the Amenfi West constituency has become a focal point for the NPP's nationwide campaign. With the momentum firmly in his favour, Mr Afrifa is positioned to lead the constituency towards a brighter future, fulfilling the aspirations of its people for transformative leadership.
