Accra Hearts of Oak hard- tackling defender, Inusah Musah, is urging his side to guard against complacency as they seek to maintain their position on top of the Premier League ladder.

In an interview with the media in Accra on Tuesday, he said at this crucial stage there was the need to maintain their momentum and not to lose their heads

The Phobians took over the leadership of the league last Sunday after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hasaacas at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipon.

Taking a leaf from the past when the Phobians moved to the summit only to lose it after subsequent fixtures, Inusah Musah wants the team to keep their heads high.

“For now we are top of the table and I pray we maintain our position there,” he said.

“There are more matches to go but we have to make sure we pick our points so to maintain our position and possibly win the title.

“So I am calling on the fans to support us in our remaining games”, he added.

Musah, 25, has in recent times formed a formidable defensive partnership with skipper Robin Gnagne that has stabilised the defence of the Phobians.
