Though they were unable to overturn the 0-4 loss suffered in the first round, Ampem Darkoa beat Fabulous Ladies 2-1 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park to further consolidate their hold at the top of the Northern Zone league table.

Goals from Princella Adubea and Sonia Opoku, arguably, the best peformers in the leauge this season, were on target for the Techiman-based team, who took their points build-up to 25 against Prisons' Ladies (who have 22 points after their 2-1 away win against Ashtown Ladies).

Hasaacas, on the other hand, whipped Soccer Intellectuals 4-0 in their game at the Sekondi Sports Stadium (Essipon), making up for the 0-2 loss they suffered in the first round. The win has kept Hasaacas, the defending champions, at the top of the Southern Zone table with 24 points, three points ahead of Police Ladies, who managed to climb to second place after their 2-0 home win against Immigration.

The result also put Immigration deep down the table and could have been in trouble if more than one team were to be relegated.

The local derby between Lepo Ladies and Northern Ladies ended in a 3-3 draw to highlight the number of drawn games recorded on Match Day 11. Bafana Ladies and LadyStrikers played to a goalless draw, Halifax and Samaria Ladies drew 1-1, while Real Upper Ladies recorded a rare 1-0 win over whipping girls, Subayo Ladies.

The NWL takes a break this week, with the Sanford Women's FA Cup taking centre stage with Round of 16 matches.
