Kotoko appoint 8-man management team
The Life Patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and the Board of Directors have approved the appointment of an eight-member management team to steer the affairs of the club for the next three years.
A statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, named Mr Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi as the new Administrative and Operations Manager of the club, with Mr Moses Antwi Benefo as the Communications Manager.
Others are Mr Eric Amoako Twum, Commercial Manager, Mr Thomas Sevordzi, Financial Manager, while Dentaa Amoateng assumes the position of the Manager of Diaspora and International Relations.
The Head of Legal (Domestic) is Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng, with Nilo Effori and David Obeng Nyarko taking the positions of Head of Legal (International) and Special Assistant to the CEO respectively.
The CEO described the new management team as an embodiment of astute and consummate professionals who are specialists in their respective fields.
“They believe in the vision and direction of this great club and have the requisite knowledge and experience to drive the club to achieve its set target through the modernisation and commercialisation of the sport,” he stated.
He noted that Kotoko is a gold mine, hence “we need skilled miners to help extract the gold within.”
He, therefore, implored all stakeholders of Kotoko “to throw their immense support behind this team to deliver gold for the greatest club in Ghana.”
