Aristica sets top-four target for Aduana FC

Newly appointed Aduana FC Head Coach, Cioba Aristica, has pledged to guide the club to a top-four finish in the Ghana Premier League by the end of the season.

Although he spoke confidently, the Romanian tactician acknowledged the challenges ahead and called for the unwavering support of fans to achieve this ambitious goal.

“My main focus for the rest of the season is to fight to be among the top four,” Coach Aristica declared during a meeting with the club’s supporters’ union at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Sports Stadium at Dormaa-Ahenkro.

Expressing his delight at his return to the club, he added, “I am extremely happy to be back to join the club as the head coach. When I received a phone call from the club’s life patron, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area, to come over and assume a new role as the club’s head coach, I was impressed about the deal.”

Coach Aristica, who had previously managed Aduana FC in 2011 and 2016, said he took the opportunity seriously after extensive discussions with his family. “I discussed extensively with my family back home and personally accepted to come over to Dormaa-Ahenkro to coach the club,” he stated, marking his third stint with the ‘Ogya’ team.

Outlining his immediate priorities, the coach emphasised the need to secure victories in their next two fixtures against Berekum Chelsea and Accra Lions. “We need to collect the two maximum points,” he said, adding, “If the transfer window opens, we will know what to do.”

The coach urged his players to change their mentality and work harder, noting that success on the pitch required determination and relentless effort. “I know the spirit of the team, and we need to keep fighting, go inside the pitch and die and collect the maximum points. We will try to win each game or at least draw to stay on top,” he stressed.

Aristica also highlighted his commitment to developing young football talents in the area, describing his return as an opportunity to nurture the next generation of players.
