Awudu Issaka Football Club wins maiden Yumvita Kiddie Games
The Awudu Issaka Football Club emerged the winners of the maiden edition of the Yumvita Kiddie Games held last Saturday at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra.

The event organized by Promasidor Ghana Limited was reserved for participants between the ages of 6months to 10years and their parents, who began arriving at 8:30am.
The football match between some selected schools was the first event on the bill followed by the 5Ometre race which saw children between the ages of 3–6years battle it out for attractive Yumvita prize packages.
There was also a crawling and walking competition between toddlers who were supported by their mothers.
In addition to the celebration, there was a mass birthday celebration for children born in the month of September who were present on the event grounds.
In a media interview, the Brand Manager for Yumvita, Mrs Linda Nartey expressed her delight about the event.
“Yumvita as a brand is interested in the holistic development of the child and this includes organizing activities that will encourage kids to indulge in sporting activities as a way of staying healthy. We also wanted to use this event to pamper parents and guardians for their commitment to the full growth of the child,” Mrs Nartey explained.
At the end of the event, Awudu Issaka football club placed first in the football competition. Accra International Academy came second followed by Cosmos Basic School.
Awards were presented to the winning schools for the various games. Mothers whose kids took part in the crawling game were also given hampers filled with various Yumvita cereal and souvenirs.
Aside from the awards presented to kids who participated in the competitions, all kids present were also given packages.
