The event is being presented by Legacy Rise Sports Promotions, a venture owned by Sharaf Mahama, the son of Ghana’s President-elect, John Mahama.
Ultimate Legacy will be the second major event promoted by the young Mahama, following a successful debut in August in East Legon, Accra.
This latest boxing extravaganza aims to thrill fans just three days before Christmas, showcasing the next generation of boxing stars.
Among the standout fighters at the event will be 22-year-old Abraham, alias Kevin Carter, who is managed by Sharaf Mahama. Abraham, a rising star, will be looking to make a mark on the local boxing scene.
Alongside him, the show will feature exciting talents such as teenage sensation and SHS graduate, Cann Neequaye (son of Ghana Boxing Authority President, Abraham Kotei Neequaye), and tall light heavyweight Ahmed Abdula. Other notable fighters include Jonathan Tetteh, who represented Ghana at the 2023 African Games; and Abu Kamoko, son of the legendary former African champion, Baraimah Kamoko (Bukom Banku).
The younger Kamoko will be making his professional debut after clinching a silver medal at the African Games earlier this year.

Legacy Rise Sports Promotions, led by Sharaf Mahama, is on a mission to showcase emerging talent and elevate the profile of Ghanaian boxing on the global stage.
The company’s primary focus is nurturing young boxers and giving them opportunities to progress, with an eye on producing future world champions. He has been actively pursuing international partnerships to help support and grow the sport in Ghana.
Recently, the young promoter met with reigning IBF world heavyweight champion, Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois, and top British promoter, Frank Warren, in the UK to discuss a partnership aimed at bringing more international exposure and support to Ghana’s boxing.
A source close to Sharaf Mahama said, "He is doing a lot behind the scenes quietly. But he was in the UK to meet with Dubois and Frank Warren, and they’re close to sealing a deal that could help bring Ghana’s boxing to the global market."
