Father's Day Special: Top Black Stars dads (PHOTOS)

Today June 18 is Father's Day and what better occasion to celebrate some of the fathers who make the nation proud on the soccer pitch.

Footballers across the world are very protective of their kids, rarely putting them under the spotlight.

However, they are quick to bring them out onto the pitch especially to celebrate a title triumph.

Perhaps the most iconic image (below) of a Ghanaian footballer and kids belongs Abedi Pele Ayew which was captured on his return to the country after the 1992 AFCON finals loss to Cote d'Ivoire.
