Fencing : Ghana coaches excel in Senegal
The National Sports Authority (NSA) last Friday lauded three of its officials, two coaches and a referee who took part in a course in Senegal.
The two coaches, Hamza Nasif, Hussein Affortu and referee Alhassan Samba, placed second out of the 15 countries that participated in the course.

Led by the president of the association, Mohammed Mahadi, the coaches presented their certificates to the director general of the NSA, Joe Kpenge, at a ceremony at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Mr Kpenge congratulated them and also lauded the association for its efforts in promoting the sport in the country.
He urged the coaches to use their expertise and the knowledge they have acquired to develop new talents for the sport saying ‘more will now be expected of you’.
"I hope you will use your expertise to groom young talents in the sport since more will now be expected of you," he stressed.
Mohammed Mahadi thanked Silverstar Auto and Syriatex for their support which enabled the officials to attend the course.
