They are currently rounding off the trip to Scottish side St. Mirren.

The trio — Shaban Muntari (16), Joseph Amoah (16) and Abednego Ashitey (17) — who are members of the United through Sports Soccer Academy in Ghana, have so far been impressive and highly commended by their hosts, especially handlers of the youth team of St. Mirren.

The co-founder and director of United through Sports Ghana, James Dzandza, said the tour was arranged as part of efforts to give the talented youngsters European exposure by training in a topclass environment as they prepare for future professional careers.

“I have no doubt this training tour is going to enhance the potentials of the players, as well as give them a broader perspective of the changing world of football around the world. This is the first of several programmes we will be introducing for our team,” he said.

“In the near future we hope to see our United through Sports Ghana youth teams participating in several youth football competitions around the world.”

United through Sport Ghana also manages the Ghana Volunteer Project, a registered charity organisation that provides an exciting experience for Ghanaian volunteers.
