From a humble beginning at Nkawie Atwima Nwabiagya, 19-year-old Kuffour rode his luck when he was discovered by Dodowa-based JMG Soccer Academy in 2010 and groomed for the rigours of professional football till Lierse SK scouts spotted him four years later.
Standing at 1.74m, innocent-looking Kuffour attacks from the wings and is effective with both legs.
Having signed a four-yeasr contract with the Belgium side, the Ghanaian has three more seasons to play before deciding his next move.
Born May 2, 1996, Kuffour, who speaks both English and French, is fancing his chances of playing in the Black Meteors or the senior national team in the near future, considering his impressive work rate which has won him many admirers in Belgium.
