New bus for Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Premier League campaign has been handed a timely boost after they received a brand new VIP bus from their Life patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The bus was presented in Kumasi last week in fulfilment of a promise the Otumfuo made to the team should they turn their desperate form around by winning matches.

The skipper of the team, Amos Frimpong in an interview with the Graphic Sports last Wednesday praised the Otumfuo for fulfilling the promise he made to the club in such a timely manner.

“I don’t think any of the players expected a new bus for the club at this stage. I don’t know for the management but we had no idea and this speaks volumes about what we should expect from him and I promise we will deliver perfectly to his satisfaction" he told the Graphic Sports. 

Incidentally, the team travelled on the bus to Dawu last Wednesday to play Dreams FC in a top Premier League encounter which Kotoko won 1-0.
