Parliament of Ghana Announcement on Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie's nomination as Chief Justice
In accordance with Article 144 (1) of the 1992 Constitution, H.E. the President, John Dramani Mahama, has nominated Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie as Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana for consideration and approval by Parliament.
Subject to Standing Order 217 of Parliament of Ghana, the Rt Hon Speaker has referred the nomination to the Appointments Committee for consideration and report.
Pursuant to Order 217 (10), this publication is made to request the submission of memoranda from persons, organisations, and the general public who may have comments and inputs in respect of the Nominee, to the following address:
