Affinity Savings and Loans to drive financial inclusion
Affinity Savings and Loans Company has introduced a new mobile banking application to enable customers across the country transact business with the bank with ease.

Known as “Affinity”, the mobile app features 24/7 banking services such as an affordable current account with no monthly fees, savings and investment accounts and loan options.
It also allows seamless transfer of funds between banks and mobile money accounts, and payment of bills.
Speaking at the launch last Friday in Accra, the Founder and Group CEO of Affinity Africa, Dr Tarek Mouganie, said the new app marks a significant step towards enhancing financial inclusion for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and individuals across Ghana.
He affirmed the company's commitment to providing accessible and affordable banking services in a market where financial inclusion is a key driver of economic and social development.
He explained that Affinity Africa was founded to support MSMEs, the largest job creators in the economy, by offering banking services that were both accessible and affordable.
“It takes courage to believe in yourself, it takes courage to start a business, and it takes courage to ask for support. These are all the necessary requirements it takes to flourish and these are all the things Affinity stands for.
MSMEs are the biggest job creators and financial inclusion drives social and economic development. With financial independence comes access to education, healthcare and clean energy,” Dr Mouganie said.
For his part, the CEO of Affinity Ghana, Abdul-Jaleel Hussein, highlighted the innovative products and services Affinity has developed to meet the real-life needs of Ghanaians.
"We are proud to offer the only current account in Ghana with zero monthly fees that also pays interest to our customers. Our app, approved by the Bank of Ghana, represents a significant advancement in tackling financial inclusion head-on.
With just a Ghana Card and a valid phone number, anyone can open a bank account from the comfort of their home or workplace,” he said.
Mr Hussein urged the public to download the app from the Play Store or App Store, emphasizing its user-friendly design, which was co-created with customer feedback at the forefront.
