Akwaaba UK unveils 5-day Easter Extravaganza in Accra

Akwaaba UK has announced a packed lineup of events for this year’s Easter celebrations, promising a five-day festival of music, food, and entertainment across some of Accra’s top venues.

Scheduled from Wednesday, April 17 to Sunday, April 21, the Easter week will feature a series of themed events aimed at delivering premium entertainment experiences to both locals and visitors.

The festivities begin with Soft Life at Front/Back on April 17, followed by Brunch Vibes at Garage on April 18. On April 19, revelers will head to Sandbox for So Solid, before donning white for the All White Party at Polo Beach Club on April 20. The celebration wraps up on Easter Monday, April 21, with a relaxing Beach Day at Si Beach.

As an added bonus, The Compozers are set to perform live in Accra on April 27 at Pink Flamingo Beach Club, offering fans a chance to experience one of the UK’s hottest music groups on Ghanaian soil.

Speaking on the upcoming events, Akwaaba UK partners Dennis Tawiah and Michael Mensah Ayenu said the initiative is part of their broader goal to position Easter in Ghana as a prime cultural experience, much like their successful "December in Ghana" programme.

“We want to make Easter in Ghana equally attractive to both locals and the diaspora. It’s about creating another strong reason for people to visit Ghana outside of the usual December rush,” they said.

The organisers assured that all logistical arrangements have been finalised to ensure a seamless experience, promising patrons the best in entertainment and hospitality.
