Busy introduces mobile clinic

Busy, a data service provider, has started a programme to educate customers and prospective ones on how to derive the best value out of the services it offers.

The project, dubbed Mobile Clinic, is in line with the company’s vision to provide maximum customer satisfaction.

Under the initiative, teams will move round to interact with customers and educate them to understand the products and services Busy offers.

At a brief meeting with the press on June 7, the Head of Marketing, Ms Linda Narh, said: “We thought it wise that instead of just sitting there waiting for customers to lodge complaints and ask questions, we will be the ones to go out there, educate them, get them to understand and get people to appreciate our products better.”

She added that the company realised that since its rebranding which modified its demographics, there had been constant updates of products and services that the customers had not been aware of. That had been associated with several complaints that the company had no knowledge about.

The project, she said, was expected to increase their customer base and improve on existing services that the company offered.

Contributions to digital economy

Ms Narh said a successful implementation of the project would enable Busy to contribute significantly to the digital economy, explaining that once it was able to increase its client base and offer affordable internet bundles, mobile devices and discounts on internet tariffs, it would drive more traffic to the digital space.

Busy currently has over 100 base stations and plans to expand coverage to more areas beyond Accra and Tema.

Customer and media engagement

Busy is further entrenching its relationship with the media with the start of media engagements on its operations.

The sessions have been designed as Knowledge Series to expose media practitioners across both the electronic and print media to different aspects of Busy’s 4G operations.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Busy 4G, Mr Praveen Sadalage, said: “We want our customers and media to walk our journey with us; by doing this, Busy is able to gather at firsthand the feedback the media and consumers have about our products and services so we can improve upon our offerings and delight our customers.”
