Camelot to declare GH¢0.0060 as dividend for 2012

Shareholders of Camelot Ghana Limited (CMLT) are to enjoy a dividend of GHC.0.0060  per share for the 2012 financial year.

The 2012 dividend, which was announced last week, is, however, limited to shareholders who would register with the company on or before June 26 this year.

A circular form the Ghana Stock Exchange said the register of shareholders will be closed on June 27.

“In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Friday, June 21, 2013,” the circular added.

Therefore, an investor purchasing the company’s shares before the said date will automatically qualify to be paid dividend for the 2012 financial year.

However, those buying CMLT shares on or after the Friday, June 21, will not be qualified for the dividend.
