Fidelity Bank supports Talking Tipps Read2Baby campaign to boost early literacy in 2 regions
In an effort to improve literacy skills among young children, Talking Tipps Africa Foundation, in collaboration with Fidelity Bank, has extended its impactful Read2Baby Campaign to schools in Ghana’s Eastern and Upper East Regions.
This expansion aims to bridge the literacy gap and create a strong foundation for lifelong learning in early childhood.

The Read2Baby Campaign, originally launched to encourage parents and caregivers to start reading to children from birth, has gained momentum nationwide.
With Fidelity Bank’s support, this initiative has now reached schools in both urban and rural communities, providing resources and training that empower educators and families to foster early reading habits.
At least four schools in the Eastern Region—R/C Primary "A" Basic, R/C Primary "B" Basic, Presby Primary Basic, and Islamic Primary Basic—have so far benefited from the campaign. All located in Akim Anyinase, these schools are now better equipped to nurture literacy among their youngest learners.
The campaign has also reached the Upper East Region, where Loozeele Excellence Academy in Bolgatanga has joined the programme.
Here, the focus was on creating a supportive reading environment, ensuring children have access to books, and equipping teachers with tools to promote reading in a fun, engaging way.
Gifty Ayoka, the founder of Talking Tipps Africa Foundation, expressed gratitude to Fidelity Bank for believing in the vision and supporting the campaign’s expansion.

“With Fidelity Bank’s partnership, we are making strides toward a future where every child, regardless of location, has the literacy skills needed to succeed,” she said. Fidelity Bank’s involvement underscores its commitment to social responsibility and community development.
By investing in literacy from an early age, the Read2Baby Campaign is paving the way for a generation of empowered, educated children, ready to take on the world.
The campaign encourages continued support and involvement from other organisations as it seeks to extend the initiative even further across Ghana.
On her part, Marjorie Quansah, Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator at Fidelity Bank, said supporting this initiative by Talking Tipps Foundation reinforces the bank’s commitment to promoting education.

“The Read2Baby campaign will have a positive impact on the beneficiaries and will help cultivate a generation of young learners who are better prepared for academic challenges, thereby contributing to the overall development and well-being of our society,” Madam Quansah added.
