Ghana Link commits to improve trade facilitation
Ghana Link Network Services Limited (Ghana Link) has expressed its resolve to remain focused on innovating and improving trade facilitation as part of measures to help support the country’s economic growth.

It is aimed at playing a pivotal role in boosting Ghana's economic growth by increasing trade volumes, attracting foreign investment, and creating employment opportunities, ultimately contributing to the country's socio-economic status.
The Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Ghana Link, Clyde Panyin Adjei Danso, who made the remarks in a press release issued in Accra, stated that "Our focus remains on innovating and improving trade facilitation in Ghana, contributing to the nation's economic growth".

The remarks were in reaction to Ghana Link receiving several awards at the 4th National Governance & Business Leadership Awards with key executives taking home individual honors alongside the company's recognition as Transformational Business of the Year.
Mr Danso was named Exemplary Business Leader of the Year for the second consecutive time. His dynamic leadership style and proven track record in driving business growth and efficiency were key factors in this recognition.
His role in overseeing operations within the group and fostering sustainable relationships with stakeholders has been instrumental in the company's success, particularly in the implementation of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS) at Ghana's ports.

Exemplary finance leadership
The Director of Finance and Administration at Ghana Link, Mr Grifford Kwarko Mensah, was honoured as the Exemplary Finance Leadership Personality of the Year.
This prestigious award recognises Mr Mensah's outstanding contributions to financial management and administrative leadership within the organisation.
His strategic approach to financial planning, coupled with his innovative administrative practices, has been crucial in supporting Ghana Link's growth and operational efficiency.
Mr. Mensah's expertise has been particularly valuable in managing the financial aspects of the company's large-scale projects, including the implementation of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS).
His prudent financial stewardship has ensured the company's ability to invest in cutting-edge technologies while maintaining a strong financial position.

At the same event, the company's Executive Chairman, Dr Nick Danso Adjei, also received the Exemplary Entrepreneur of the Year Award, further underlining the strength of Ghana Link's leadership team.

The successful implementation of ICUMS has led to increased revenue collection by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and improved efficiency in goods clearance processes at the ports of Tema and Takoradi.
