Kelvin Nii Kwatey Quartey named Event Executive of the Year at Ghana Executive Awards 2025

Kelvin Nii Kwatey Quartey, a rising force in Ghana’s creative and events industry, has been honoured as Event Executive of the Year at the Ghana Executive Awards 2025. The ceremony took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Quartey, known for his dynamic leadership in events, branding, and creative entrepreneurship, was recognised for his extensive contributions to Ghana’s growing experience economy. As the founder and CEO of TICTOK Global, Kelquart Ventures, and Influence Reaction Print, he has been at the helm of major experiential projects such as Indomiefest, Afrochella, Afrofuture, TEDx Accra, House of Walker, the Hennessy NBA Launch, and several high-profile corporate and national activations.

In his acceptance speech, Quartey reflected on the collaborative effort behind his success. “This recognition is not just about me; it reflects the talent, hard work, and creativity of everyone I’ve had the privilege to work with. Together, we are redefining what events mean in Ghana and across Africa,” he said.

Beyond his entrepreneurial work, Quartey is also the current SRC President at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where he advocates for student empowerment, community development, and innovative leadership.

The Ghana Executive Awards, organised by Globe Productions in collaboration with the Ghana CEO Awards, celebrates excellence in leadership across the private and public sectors. This year’s ceremony highlighted over 30 individuals and institutions under the theme: “Celebrating Leadership, Individual and Team Excellence, Building a Stronger Ghana.”

Quartey’s award adds to a growing list of recognitions for young Ghanaian innovators redefining Africa’s creative industries, and reinforces his mission to champion youth empowerment, elevate African narratives, and deliver globally competitive productions rooted in local relevance.
