NLA rewards ‘Afehyia Pa’ promo winners
Gabriel Nii Amponsah Doodo and Pabras Prestige Enterprise, retailers of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), were on Tuesday adjudged winners of the ‘Afehyia Pa’ promotion in Accra.

The two winners were given a brand new Hyundai car each for their participation and immense contribution towards the achievement chalked up by the NLA.
Other winners were given deep freezers, gas cookers, table top fridges and 32-inch LED flat screen televisions.
Purpose of promotion
Speaking at the ceremony, the Director-General of the NLA, Brigadier-General Martin Koku Gameli Ahiaglo, said the NLA Afehyia Pa promotion was to reward committed and hard-working retailers for their contribution towards the achievement chalked up in the last financial year.
It was to motivate retailers to remain focused and sell the NLA products and also to encourage them to work harder.
According to him, the promotion has brought positive results to the company’s fortunes and additional profits to the retailers.
“We are motivated by these gains and encouraged to do more to improve the lot of our retailers and the Ghanaian society as a whole,” he said.
Brigadier-General Ahiaglo commended the winners and encouraged the public to keep their hopes high for the best opportunities from the company in the coming competition.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, one of the winners, Mr Amponsah Doodo, urged the general public to participate in the competition and win prizes that would help improve their living standards.
