
Pan-African Savings and Loans demonstrates commitment through CSR donations
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Pan-African Savings and Loans has made donations to two educational institutions in the communities it operates.
The Richard Akwei Memorial Basic School in Agbogbloshie received a water tank, ceiling fans, and industrial bins, while the Ashaiman Municipal Authority (ASHMA) Government 1 School in Ashaiman received a projector, television, and ceiling fans.
The gesture which forms part of Pan-African’s commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of its customers and the communities it serves, aimed to support the education and well-being of children in these communities.
The Head, Corporate Affairs, Research and Customer Experience at Pan-African, Linda Naykene, said the donations demonstrates Pan-African’s commitment to supporting the communities it served.
"We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of future generations, and we are proud to be playing a role in making that happen," she said.
The Headmistress of Richard Akwei Memorial Basic School, Yvonne Oboshie Bannerman, was overjoyed with the receipt of the donations.
She said the water tank and industrial bins will greatly improve the school's sanitation and hygiene.
She said “the have been struggling with water scarcity and waste management, and these donations will make a huge difference. Our students will now have access to clean water and a healthier learning environment."
Similarly, the Headmistress of ASHMA Government 1 School, Madam Ernestina Okoampah, expressed her gratitude for the donations saying “the projector, television, and ceiling fans will enhance our teaching and learning experience.
Our students will now have access to modern educational tools, and our teachers will be able to deliver more engaging and effective lessons. We are thankful for Pan-African’s support and commitment to education."
