Q1 Graphic Business/Stanbic Bank Breakfast Meeting tomorrow
The first quarter thought-leadership event, Graphic Business/Stanbic Bank Breakfast Meeting, comes off tomorrow at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
On the theme; "Public-Private Partnerships and Financing Options for Sustainable Development,"it comes at a time when the government has expressed its determination to work with the private sector to close the wide infrastructure gap in the country.
The meeting which will be attended by private sector players, investors among others, will have the Country Senior Partner at PwC Ghana, Vish Ashiagbor, as the lead speaker on a platform which promises to be one for stakeholders in the public and private sectors to share their thoughts on how the government can easily nagivate the process.
Mr Ashiagbor will share his expertise and insights gained from over 25 years of professional experience in transactions and deals.
He will also share with the public how the government can use PPPs to finance major national projects and developments.

Mr Ashaigbor’s presentation will focus on the critical role of PPPs in driving sustainable development in Ghana.
As a seasoned expert in due diligence work, investment appraisals and business valuations, Mr Ashiagbor will provide valuable perspectives on the financing options available for PPPs.
He will also discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing successful PPPs in Ghana.

“Governments over the years have tried to make meaning out of PPPs to aid in financing projects. Tuesday’s breakfast meeting will seek to bring closure on how best the government can leverage PPPs to achieve this aim,” he added.
