uniCredit opens new branch in Koforidua

Unicredit has inaugurated its new branch in Koforidua, scaling up its branch network to 21 across five regions of the country.

The new branch is to help bring superior banking services and efficiency to the people of Koforidua and the Eastern Region.

At the official opening of its Koforidua branch, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Samuel Sakyi-Hyde, said the opening of the new additional branches and, particularly, that of Koforidua was in fulfilment of the institution’s commitment to both existing and prospective customers.

“We are very committed to our current expansion drive, and the creation of these new branches is in line with a promise to provide enhanced, premium banking services to our target market,” he said.

He said as a demand-driven institution, uniCredit’s new branch in Koforidua was in fulfilment of a promise to numerous requests from clients to extend its services to the Eastern Region.

Mr Sakyi-Hyde also pointed out that three other branches were opened during the first half of the year, and explained, “We have already opened three branches in Accra at Nima, Abossey Okai and Nungua; and we intend to hit a branch network of 25 by the end of the year.”

He assured customers and the general public that uniCredit would continue to provide an appropriate array of banking products and services in response to changing customer demands and requirements while ensuring the provision of convenient, accessible and comfortable banking environments for quality service delivery nationwide.

He encouraged customers to take advantage of uniCredit’s e-banking suite to save them valuable time and facilitate trade and business.
