A galaxy of stars for The Gods Are Not To Blame
WHEN an extraordinary assembly of talent descend on one stage in a performance, nothing but an exciting experience is expected and that is exactly what patrons will be treated to when the play, The Gods Are Not Blame comes off at the National Theatre, Accra, on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3.

The play which shows at 4pm and 8 pm on each day features acting icons including David Dontoh, Mawuli Semevor, Naa Ashorkor, Andrew Tandoh-Adote and Fred Amugi.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, CEO of Image Bureau, George Quaye who is behind productions such as Run For Your Wife and A Detective Calls, said the stage is set for a theatrical spectacle like no other.
“A gathering of Ghana's most esteemed and celebrated actors and actresses is taking place, and the purpose is nothing short of spectacular. The play boasts of the creme de la creme of Ghana’s acting elite whose names have become synonymous with excellence in theatre and film and theatregoers are sure of a very good time”, he mentioned.
David Dontoh, a revered figure in Ghana's arts scene, will lead the ensemble. With a career spanning decades, he is known for his remarkable performances that have left audiences spellbound.
Joining Dontoh is the iconic Fred Amugi, whose contributions to Ghana's cinema and theatre are celebrated nationwide. Amugi’s ability to inhabit a character and bring depth to each role is an art form unto itself.
On his part, Mawuli Semevor, recognised for his versatility and dedication to his craft, will be another star of the show. His ability to breathe life into diverse characters has earned him critical acclaim.

Andrew Tandoh-Adote, Roverman Productions’ young dynamic actor with a remarkable stage presence, will contribute his expertise to the production.
And the Queen of GH Theatre, Naa Ashorkor, known for her enchanting performances in both theatre and film, will grace the stage. Her ability to engage with her patrons emotionally is unmatched.
According to Mr Quaye who is the director of the production, this ensemble of exceptional talent extends beyond these renowned actors to include many more gifted individuals, each bringing their unique brilliance to the production.
