“Even though I did not win the crown, I was among the final five which was not enough for me so I will not give up now. I am a very strong person who has passion for what she believes in,” she said.

Talking about what made her think that she deserved the crown more than any of the girls in the competition, she said, “I am very confident, beautiful, intelligent, and smart and did all that I could to win. Infact, I would say, I worked more than the other girls in the competition to the extent that the other girls saw me as a threat.

“But I think the judges knew what they were looking for so I cannot do or say much but I was hoping to win that crown.”

Stephanie who threw a party for children with autism cases at Kokomlemle, last week Thursday, said even though she did not win, it will not stop her from pursing her passion which is putting smiles on the faces of such children.

“It has always been my dream to see to it that children with such cases are given special attention and this was what motivated me to go into the Miss Malaika competition but the fact that I did not win the crown does not mean that I will let my dream go.

“So yes I will keep doing what I love to do and would not have a problem trying other beauty pagenats,” she said.
