Australian DJ, Courtney Mills dies on holiday after falling from apartment balcony
Model and DJ Courtney Mills has tragically passed away at the age of 37 following a fall from a balcony while holidaying in Bali.
The much-loved entertainer suffered critical injuries in Kuta, where she had been visiting her two dogs, according to reports.
Despite being rushed to the hospital and undergoing multiple surgeries, Courtney could not be saved, leaving her family and friends heartbroken.
Her mother, Diane Mayne, spoke to Nine News, sharing a heartfelt tribute: “She was beautiful, big-hearted, happy and go-lucky.”
Courtney’s sister, Kiani, reflected on her life and passion in an interview with the Herald Sun: “The most beautiful thing we have been able to do for the last couple of days is sit and reminisce about the incredible life that she lived and how full her life was.”
Kiani went on to describe Courtney’s dedication to her craft.
“She would drive hours and hours just to DJ for one hour. She would fly across the country to do the job she loved so passionately, and to her, it wasn’t a job, it was a life. Being behind those decks was her sense of freedom, and we got to see her light up rooms.”
