Bawumia boosts Afia Asantewaa's Sing-a-thon world record attempt
On Christmas afternoon filled with cheers and gospel melodies, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia surprised attendees with a visit to cheer on Afia Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum in her attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon - Sing-a-thon.
Afia, fueled by passion and determination, started her ambitious journey at midnight on December 24.

Her eyes are on the record currently held by Indian Sunil Waghmare (105 hours in 2012).
