Breezy to cut Rihanna out of his life

Chris Brown and Rihanna are known to have one of the most volatile relationships in showbiz and according to insiders, the intense romance is something the star has been warned to avoid in future as he continues to work on his anger issues in rehab.

It was confirmed earlier this month that the Don't Wake Me Up star had entered a treatment facility following an alltercation in Washington D.C. which saw the star charged with misdemeanor assault charges.

According to a new report from HollywoodLife, the star has been warned that RiRi, who he dated in 2009 until the infamous assault on the way home from a pre-Grammy party, isn't a positive influence on his life or anger issues.

The couple rekindled their relationship last December, but despite a year of rumoured hook-ups, the relationship lasted only five months as the pair split again in May.

Sources told the US gossip site: “Chris doesn’t think or even talk about Rihanna because she’s one of the negatives in his life,”

“She, as a person, is not negative, but the events and situations that happened when they were together were extremely negative and stressful on Chris.

He talks about that in therapy, but when the sessions are over, they tell him not to discuss or even think about her.”

The insider went on: It’s too painful and he already paid his price for what he did but everyone only seems to focus on that and it’s killing him softly.

“So he’s been told by professionals to erase those negative thoughts and situations he had with her from his mind.”

The relationship with Rihanna and the 2009 assault have been a source of negativity for Chris for years. Taking to Twitter to vent his frustration in August, he wrote: "Don't worry mainstream America After this X album, it'll probably be my last album.

"Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!"
