He visited the Remar Ghana Christian Rehabilitation Center in Dansoman, Teshie Orphanage, New Life Orphanage International in Nungua and Lighthouse Christian Children’s Home in Aburi.

In all the orphanages that he visited, the children were prepared to receive him as he was welcomed with some of his own popular songs like Baaba and Let It Rain.

In each of the places he visited, he shared with them a birthday cake and also donated assorted items and gave out undisclosed amounts of money. His birthday was put together by Smarttys management and production.

Sonnie arrived in the country last week to prepare for his Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu Concert which is scheduled for Saturday November 30, 2013 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He launched the annual Sonnie Badu Worship in 2008 and since then, the concerts have been held in countries like Germany, Italy, Ireland and Canada as well as in places like London, New York, Maryland, Atlanta, Virginia, New Jersey, Ohio and Texas.
