Calista for Miss Teen Tourism International
SIXTEEN-year-old first-year student of Achimota School, Calista Amoateng, is set to represent Ghana at this year's Miss Teen Tourism International scheduled for Manila, Philippines in July.
Calista is the first daughter of media personalities Stacy Amoateng and Quophi Okyeame.
Miss Teen Tourism Ghana is organised by Eco Earth Foundation. The organisation seeks to pick a Ghanaian talented teenager with an outgoing personality and a fan base within their peers.

The selection is done based on talent, poise and eloquence because the selected candidate becomes an ambassador to showcase Ghana to the rest of the world.
In an interview with The Mirror, Calista said she was excited to have been chosen to represent Ghana at the international competition.
“I am very excited as I get to show people outside Ghana what we have here so they can come visit and explore the country themselves.
"I am not only representing myself but my country as well which I feel is a huge responsibility as what I say informs their knowledge and decisions about the country.”
She said she was prepared to promote the country the best way possible
Stacy Amoateng added, "We were contacted by the National Director, Madam Evelyn Akoto, who informed us she and her team had followed Calista's exploits in music, acting and television presenting and found her a great ambassador to represent Ghana in Manila Philippines in July for Miss Teen Tourism International organised by Megastar Productions in Philippines."

Calista is a born artist. Aside school and music, she is amazing with drawing. She is a make-up artist and hair stylist. She teaches teenagers make-up and hairstyling on her YouTube channel. She is also a model and actress.
Miss Teen Tourism is a pageant that seeks to raise future leaders who will unite through tourism to sell their countries to the world.
It also seeks to bring the contestants to understand that we are one people irrespective of our skin, race, religion or language.
