Joe Mettle announces ‘The River’ edition of Praise Reloaded 2026 on June 28
The Accra Sports Stadium is back as host of this year’s Praise Reloaded headlined by award winning gospel artiste, Joe Mettle.
This year’s event, planned to take place on Sunday, June 28, is expected to draw a huge gathering of worshippers in an intense moment of worship and praise.
The upcoming event is the 14th edition and according to the Kadosh singer, he is hopeful it will be an equally impact spiritual exercise on the day.
Speaking at the official launch held at the Reverb Studios in Sowutuom, Accra, Joe Mettle thanked his team who work tirelessly behind the scenes for their immense support over the years.’
He also disclosed that it had become necessary to move to the stadium to create conducive atmosphere and also accommodate the growing huge numbers.
On the choice of ‘The River’ as this year’s theme, these were his words, “I am deeply stirred and excited about what God is set to do through Praise Reloaded 2026 dubbed ‘The River’. This is more than an event; it is a divine assignment. Scripture tells us in John 7:36 - 38 that ‘What does he mean by saying, “You will seek me, and you will not find me,” and “Where I am you cannot come”?’ On the last day of the feat, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water, and we believe this season is part of that fulfillment. Through every activation, every gathering, and every moment of worship, we are trusting God for a mighty outpouring that will touch lives, restore hearts, and draw many back to Him. We are ready, we are expectant, and we are believing for an unprecedented move of God.”
As expected, a number of gospel artistes will join Joe Mettle on stage and the first list of artistes- Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Eugene Zuta and Bethel Revival Choir were announced.
“In addition, a host of friends and family, my brothers and fellow artistes from Ghana and the international gospel community will ill be unveiled progressively as the promotions continue,” he said.
The roadmap to Praise Reloaded 2026 will feature a series of events including a Praise Reloaded float on June 13, Music Seminar on June 20, Campus Activations, Church Activations, Media Tour, a prayer campaign and a week-long series of Worship Nights to energise patrons before the big day.
Cynthia Appiadu of Daughters of Glorious Jesus praised Joe Mettle for his dedication and commitment to his career.
“We are so proud of him and I know that if Ghanaians don’t use their mouths to kill him, Joe Mettle’s ministry will continue to grow and he will live long to fill his divine mandate and purpose,” she said.
Joe Mettle also thanked the veteran group for their support and guidance all these years.
“Daughters of Glorious Jesus are my mothers and if you have your mothers solidly behind you, you feel secured and that is why I’m excited to have them on board this year. It is a dream come true,” he said.
