Charterhouse opens nominations for 26th TGMA
Organisers of the annual Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have officially opened nominations for the 26th edition of the annual event.
This announcement, which marks the beginning of the award cycle, was made public in a press release issued to Graphic Showbiz on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The release emphasised that individuals and institutions deserving of recognition in Ghana’s music industry are encouraged to submit nominations for consideration. The call extends to all stakeholders, including artists, managers, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, and composers.
A statement signed by Robert Klah, Head of Public Events & Communications at Charterhouse, reads: "On behalf of the Board, our distinguished sponsors, and esteemed partners, we extend our warmest regards to all music stakeholders and officially announce the commencement of nominations for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards. The scheme is accepting submissions for all commercially released works in the year 2024, from January 1st to December 31st. All entries from artistes, artiste managements, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, music composers, and music industry stakeholders should be submitted via the online portal at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com before or on Sunday, 16th February 2025. Please note that the categories of the TGMAs have been revised. The revision affects definitions and additions."
